About Sound Child Care Solutions

Sound Child Care Solutions (SCCS) is a nonprofit organization and consortium of eight early childhood education centers, sharing administrative services in a central office. Our core work is to alleviate the academic and opportunity gaps between children who receive high quality early learning, and those who don’t.

Unity and diversity are deep-rooted strengths of SCCS. Early learning agencies serving children solely from low-income/marginalized communities continually chase outside funding for basic operating expenses due to limited public funding per child. Financially, SCCS serves all families so that we can serve more low-income children. Uniting government subsidized centers and mixed income centers allows us to ensure that all children at SCCS experience excellent learning opportunities.
